In any effort to achieve greater results, venturing into new horizons, breaking mythical frontiers and riding amongst the giants are key traits needed. One of the giants in the Zakat operation industry is Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah Darul Aman (LZNK) in Malaysia. They own a Zakat tower of 11 floors with each space on the tower occupied with operations of Zakat.
The CEO of this Zakat Board (Kedah) Shk Zakaria bin Othman in his speech with us, on why the Menara (tower) Zakat was built, like Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad the Prime Minister of Malaysia remarked on why he built the Petronas towers, Sheikh Zakaria Othman said that in times of reflection and striving higher, one must leap and climb up to see how far he is left behind. Hence the Zakat Tower.
